  (Oil & Energy)

  Managed corporate trademark staff of Conoco Inc. and ConocoPhillips Company following its merger with Phillips Petroleum Company. Implemented the corporation's largest trademark filing program. Secured the merged corporation's domain name. Directed staffing and integration of the filing and docketing systems. Chaired the Conoco Trademark Committee. Responsible for client counseling, clearance searches, opinions, filings, oppositions, consent agreements, and litigation management of trademark and trade secret matters. Major brands managed included ConocoPhillips, Conoco, Phillips 66, Union 76, 76 and the Jet brand in Europe and the Far East.
  
  Counseled explorations and production worldwide; negotiated contracts, licenses, DOE and EU Commission agreements; managed IP litigation, E&P freedom to operate opinions and patent prosecution.
